Kari scrubbed her hands vigorously through her blonde hair and sighed when she spied Penny and Ayumi leaving her house that morning.
So she had her new girlfriend all to herself all night long, neh?
Kari stewed on it from that moment. Penny sent a few texts later that day after lunch, trying to see her, but Kari stayed cagey. Sure, she was happy for her friend, but she did not get to spend the night with Taro the way she wanted. Did Penny's parents know about her new relationship with the cheer girl? Surely they'd change their sleepover policy if they knew. Kari let an evil grin spread across her lips as she turned the idea over in her mind.
But she did not plan do it. Penny was too good a friend, and she had had her nights alone with Taro, so Penny was allowed her fun. In the end, even despite her jealousy, she was happy for her friend. What were best friends for, if not being happy for each other?

No. We are not dragging this all back up. I dealt with it already. It happened, like, let it go. Let me go. I shouldn't be doing this to myself.
I only want to help you. And if you want to help your friends, you should let me help you.
You keep saying you want to help me, but I can't trust you, not after all the horrible things you've been saying to me.
Honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about. I believe I have been nothing if not tactful and honest with you. But that's fine. You will help me. It will take longer if you don't cooperate, but in the end you will help me.
